The Maasai Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding the Maasai and Samburu communities in Kenya and Tanzania, severely impacted by the "Drought of the Burning Sun," the worst drought in over a century. Since 2018, this crisis has claimed over 100,000 lives and millions of livestock. The Maasai Trust provides critical support through programs like emergency food distribution, clean wa

ter access via well construction, literacy and education initiatives, sustainable farming, and community health improvements. Established in 2018 by Maasai leaders and supported by Dr. Ron and Ronda Clark, the organization ensures aid reaches those most in need. Join us in helping the Maasai survive and thrive. The story of Dr Ron and Ronda Clark is quite remarkable, I will include a photo and small peek into the story of their relationship with the Maasai people. The Clarks have been instrumental in bringing 10’s of thousands of them to Christ through the preaching of the gospel, they have a unique inside position to bring blessing into the tribe’s lives.

Dr Ron and Ronda Clark have been missionaries to the Maasai tribe for the past 11 years. When Dr. Ron turned 65, the Maasai elders made him an elder, the first "Mzungu" or white person to be given this honor in their long history. They gave him the name "Olomanyak " or "The man who brings blessings". He was also given "eserie narok", the black stick of an elder and they wrapped him in a red checkered blanket (shuka). In addition, the king’s eldest son presented him with a large knife to carry on his waist and a purple cape, which is the sign of royalty. Ronda, so loved by the women, was also wrapped in a shuka, adorned in beautiful hand-made jewelry and given the name "Naserian" or "the woman who brings peace."

Ron and Ronda need financial help to meet the needs of the Maasai at this time because of the severe drought that has killed their animals and many of the tribe.
