we also invest Investment in the Kenyan education system has been quite dynamic lately. Lots of primary school leavers are finding themselves looking for institutions to further their education , since the middle level school system is hardly enough to absorb the large number of prospective students desiring absorption every year. Private sector investment in secondary school education has also been minimal, at least to effectively match the growing demand, with the situation turning to that of diminishing space supply. With the number of prospective entrants every year, the demand for admissions has far outstretched the supply. This demand is further compounded by the fact that primary school graduands may not access any meaningful alternatives were they to stop at this level. As such, especially for the average performers, private secondary schools provide that link to higher education through requisite packaging to access the same after such level graduation. It is on the basis of positive evaluation of such effective demand that mimshach ministry took up the decision to realize mimshach academy as the main campus for a series of such high schools countrywide. 1. Your mindset decides your result before your money enters the market

Before you lose $1 in the market, you already lost it mentally.

•If you enter the market with:

•I must double this money fast”

•Let me recover my losses quickly

Everyone is making money, I don’t want to be left out”

•You’re already set up to lose.

•The market does not reward need, pressure, or desperation.

•It rewards clarity, patience, and discipline.
A weak mindset turns:

•Small pullbacks into panic selling

•Normal market noise into fear

•Long-term investments into short-term gambling

That’s why two people can buy the same asset and one wins while the other loses.

How to Speak Without Overusing ‘Uh’ and ‘Um’ 😬🔄

(6 Tips to Avoid Using Filler Words)

When I first started speaking in English, I filled almost every sentence with “uh” and “um.” I thought it made me sound unsure, and the more I noticed it, the more nervous I became. What I learned is this: hesitations are not the problem. The problem is not knowing how to replace them with better habits.

Here are six tips that helped me reduce fillers and sound more confident:

1. Pause with purpose

Take a short pause instead of filling the silence with “uh.” Silence gives your brain time to think and makes your words sound more intentional.
Example: Instead of saying, “I think, uh, this idea is good,” pause and say, “I think… this idea is good.”

2. Use transition words

Replace fillers with natural connectors. Words like “so,” “well,” or “you know” guide your listener and give you time to think.
Example: “Uh, the reason is…” becomes “Well, the reason is…”

3. Slow your pace

Rushing often leads to more fillers. Speak a little slower so your mouth and brain stay in sync.
Example: Practice reading aloud at a slower speed, recording yourself to notice the difference.

4. Practice with short prompts

Pick a random topic and speak for one minute without stopping. Focus on ideas, not perfection. The more you practice, the less your brain relies on fillers.
Example: Talk about “your favorite food” for one minute straight without saying “uh” or “um.”

5. Train with mirror speaking

Stand in front of a mirror and practice answering questions. Seeing yourself makes you more aware of your pacing and expressions. This builds confidence and reduces nervous fillers.
Example: Ask yourself, “What did I do today?” Answer in English while maintaining eye contact with your reflection.

6. Build a recovery phrase bank

Prepare sentences you can use when you lose your train of thought. This avoids awkward silences.
Example: “Let me rephrase that,” or “What I mean is…” These give you time to regr
