💛When life feels overwhelming, please remember that you do not have to face it alone.
There may be moments when the pain feels too heavy, the future feels uncertain, or you feel like no one understands what you are going through. But su***de is not the solution to a painful moment. Your circumstances can change, support can be found, and tomorrow can bring possibilities that today cannot yet reveal.
Asking for help is not weakness—it is courage. Speak to someone you trust: a friend, family member, counselor, teacher, faith leader, or mental-health professional. Sometimes, simply sharing what you are carrying can be the first step toward healing.
Let us also remember to check on the people around us. A simple “How are you really doing?” can open a door for someone who has been suffering silently. Listen without judgment, show compassion, and remind them that they are valued.
Your pain is real, but so is hope. Your story is not over. Take one step at a time. Reach out. Stay connected. Choose hope. Choose life.🌻💛

CANCER DIDN’T TAKE MY GOLD — IT MADE ME GOLDEN. 🎗️
I’m Catherine Wambugu, a Leukemia ALL survivor and Founder & CEO of Hope & Courage International.
I remember being the one in the hospital bed, facing a diagnosis I never imagined would become part of my story. I remember the fear, the tears, the long days, the uncertainty of not knowing what tomorrow would bring.
There were moments I wondered, “Will I make it?”
But I did. I’m here. I survived. 💛
And today, every breath I have is a reminder that my story didn’t end with cancer — it became a purpose.
That is why I GO GOLD. Not just for awareness, but for every child sitting in a hospital bed today, wondering if they will make it too.
I GO GOLD because I am Golden.
