For over 300 years, critics have called Freemasonry a “secret society.”
They’ve been wrong for just as long.
Our buildings are marked.
Our charitable works are public.
Our history is documented.
Our principles are known.
What has always set Freemasonry apart isn’t secrecy—it’s character.
The world isn’t judging us by what we keep confidential.
It’s judging us by how we live in public.
This week’s Words of Leadership challenges one of the oldest myths about the Craft and reminds us that the greatest secret of Freemasonry isn’t hidden in a ceremony.
It’s revealed in the conduct of every Mason.
Read it. Share it. Then ask yourself:
If someone knew nothing about Freemasonry except the way you live… what would they believe about the Craft?
By Virtue and Honor, We Lead.
