Today was a powerful day at Green City Gardens 🌱♻️

We were honored to host students from Denmark and the Netherlands who visited Green City Kenya for a learning and cultural exchange experience.

Together, we shared knowledge on recycling, sustainable materials, and practical environmental conservation within our community. From waste transformation initiatives to grassroots climate action, it was inspiring to see young people from different parts of the world united by one common goal — protecting our planet 🌍

At Green City Kenya, we believe solutions grow when communities connect. Today was not just a visit; it was a meaningful exchange of ideas, experiences, and innovation.

Asante sana to our visitors for choosing to learn and share with us. The future of environmental sustainability is brighter when we collaborate across borders.

Green City Gardens came alive as Green City, together with the Social Justice Centre Travelling Theatre, hosted a powerful screening of The Last Catch. The turnout was incredible, with the community showing up in big numbers.

We appreciate everyone who made the night a success. Film remains a powerful tool for storytelling, awareness, and change. 🌍✊🏽

From the day we planted our fruit trees, it has truly been a journey of hope, care, and patience. This lemon tree has been a symbol of growth and resilience, and we have watched it thrive with so much joy.

Lately, however, we have noticed some changes — its leaves are withering, and the tree seems to be struggling. This raises an important question for us as a community: what could be the cause, and how can we prevent or treat this condition?
