Empowering Community Health Leadership!

This week, our CHW Advocates from various regions came together for an inspiring Leadership in Community Health Training, equipping them with advocacy and leadership skills to strengthen community health systems across Kenya.

We appreciate our partners, Lwala Community Alliance, for their continued collaboration and commitment to advancing the CHW movement. Together, we are building a stronger, united voice for all Community Health Promoters.

🌍✨ Building Digital Champions for Health in Kawangware ✨🌍

At Gatina Dispensary in Kawangware, our Community Health Promoters (CHPs) came together for a powerful digital training session. Armed with their mobile phones, they are not just learning technology—they are unlocking new ways to advocate, connect, and serve their communities better.

For years, CHPs have been the unsung heroes at the heart of our healthcare system—walking door to door, listening to families, promoting healthy practices, and ensuring no one is left behind. Today, we are strengthening that mission by equipping them with digital tools and advocacy skills, enabling them to access knowledge, share information faster, and raise their voices in decision-making spaces.

This training is more than just learning to use digital platforms—it is about empowerment. It is about ensuring that CHPs are recognized as professionals, equipped to influence policies, and supported to continue transforming lives.

Every phone in their hands today represents a voice amplified, a community strengthened, and a step closer to health equity for all. 💙

We celebrate our CHPs for embracing this new journey and thank our partners and supporters for walking with us in making Advocacy in Motion a reality.

🗣️ CHPs in Ongata Rongai Face Unfair Dismissal — But the Community Has Spoken!

We have received disturbing reports that six Community Health Promoters (CHPs) from Olekasasi Hospital in Rongai, Kajiado County have been unjustly dismissed from their duties. But one thing is clear: the community is standing with them!

This solidarity is a win — it shows that our work as CHPs is recognized, valued, and defended.

This video sheds light on the incident — a clear violation of the rights and dignity of CHPs who serve at the grassroots to promote health and save lives.

👉🏾 We demand answers.
👉🏾 We demand justice.
👉🏾 We stand with the Olekasasi 6!

No CHP should be treated this way. Let us raise our voices until accountability is achieved.
