On this Monday we are motivated by Helen Adams Keller (June 27, 1880 – June 1, 1968) who was an American author, disability rights advocate, political activist and lecturer. She lost her sight and her hearing after a bout of illness when she was 19 months old. We are motivated by her great achievements of being a) the first person with deafblindness to earn a college degree and b) nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 1953.

In commemoration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, ANDY in partnership with the KENYA WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL FEDERATION and National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) will be hosting a wheelchair basketball tournament at Nyayo Stadium on 2nd and 3rd December.
We are excited!!!!
