Congratulations to our Mazingira Ambassadors of Change in Narok County on your graduation! The NOPE Executive Director, Philip Waweru Mbugua graced the lively and colourful event hosted by Paran Women's Centre. The Chief Guest was the Assistant County Commissioner, Mr. Jared Owino. 300 MAoC graduated. The event was one of the activities of ASILI-B project, which Nope Kenya is implementing in partnership with Vi Agroforestry. NOPE's role is strengthening the capacity of partner organizations in the meaningful engagement of youth and women in agroforestry and biodiversity.

Last week NOPE, as a partner to Vi Agroforestry's ASILI-B (Agroforestry for Sustainable Livelihoods and Biodiversity) project, held the Annual Mazingira Graduation Bootcamp in Kilifi County. The event brought together Mazingira Ambassadors of Change (m-AoC) and Gender Champions. This was a networking and cross-learning forum for NOPE and ASILI-B core partners ADS Pwani, KWETU and IPD-K. NOPE's role is to strengthen the core partners' capacity in the meaningful engagement of youth and women in agroforestry and biodiversity.
