On Tuesday, 16th June, we participated in the Nairobi County commemoration of the Day of the African Child 2026 at Mahiga Primary School under the theme:

"Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) to Children Across Africa."

As a member of the planning committee and a partner in the event, we were honored to join government representatives, including the Director from the State Department for Children Services, County and Sub-County Commissioners, Children Officers, development partners, civil society organizations, and children in advocating for the rights and wellbeing of every child.

A key highlight for us was delivering a puppetry performance that creatively engaged children and stakeholders on the importance of safe water, proper sanitation, and hygiene in promoting healthy, safe, and dignified childhoods.

The celebration reaffirmed the importance of collective action in ensuring that every child has access to the essential services they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our Children. Our Future. Our Africa.

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month

Men's mental health matters, yet many men continue to suffer in silence due to stigma, societal expectations and limited safe spaces to share their experiences.

In partnership with Nzumari Africa and Lifesong KENYA we shall be hosting a thought-provoking X Space discussion on Men, Abuse and Mental Health.

We'll explore the challenges men face, the impact of abuse on mental well-being and how we can create supportive environments where men feel safe to speak, heal and seek help.

Today we join Nairobi County and partners in commemorating the Day of the African Child 2026 at Mahiga Primary School under the theme:

"Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) to Children Across Africa."

As we celebrate the resilience, rights, and potential of every child, we also reaffirm the urgent need to invest in safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services that enable children to learn, grow, and thrive in healthy and dignified environments.

We are proud to stand alongside government agencies, civil society organizations, schools, and communities in championing a future where every child has access to the basic services they need to reach their full potential.

Our Children. Our Future. Our Africa.
