True resilience requires mental well-being. This Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, we are championing the theme "Bring Empathy Back."

Let's foster environments at home, at work, and in our communities where men feel safe to prioritize their health and seek support without judgment.

Empathy isn't a weakness; it is the foundation of collective healing. Remember to prioritize your mental health today and every day.

Yesterday, as the nation marked Madaraka Day, our team stood in solidarity at the Walk in Nairobi to honor the lives of women lost to femicide, remember missing children, and amplify calls for justice, accountability, and safer communities for all.

Every life matters. Every voice counts. Every family deserves answers.

Nzumari Africa was pleased to participate in the Male Engagement and Inclusion Committee Quarterly Meeting convened by the State Department for Gender and hosted by UN Women held on 8th May 2026 ahead of the final bi-annual Gender Sector Working Group Forum for the 2025/26 performance year.

The meeting brought together stakeholders from government, development partners, and civil society to strengthen coordination and advance meaningful engagement of men and boys as partners and beneficiaries in promoting gender equality, ending GBV, and transforming harmful social norms.

We remain committed to contributing to conversations and actions that promote positive masculinities, inclusion, mental well-being, and safer communities for all.
