In a bid to localize the Pact for the Future, we teamed up with our partners to host an in-person youth dialogue on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in Nairobi 🇰🇪. We had previously hosted a high-level webinar (https://youtu.be/pWu9omxgxxQ) and are keen to reach and engage young people in the process, especially at the community level.

The physical dialogue provided a platform for youth participants to engage with their peers and other stakeholders on the Pact of the Future, its annexes, and how this can be leveraged to accelerate SDGs implementation in Kenya and beyond. Based on the five thematic areas of the Pact, the dialogue also raised the levels of awareness on the role of youth and highlighted opportunities for them to contribute to the localization of the Pact.

| 📍Alliance High School 🇰🇪

On Friday, June 5, 2026, Champions for SDGs Youth had the pleasure of joining fellow environmentalists to celebrate the World Environment Day 2026 at the Alliance High School. During the celebrations, we planted 1,000 trees which remain under the care of the school as they grow.

We are all called upon to continue taking climate actions, regardless of how small, to protect, conserve and take care of our environment, not only for our own sake, but also for posterity.

The activity was organized by the Global Peace Foundation Kenya, the Manu Chandaria Foundation, the Alliance High School, UNICAF, Truphena Muthoni, among other distinguished stakeholders and partners.
