All 12 partner organisations have completed the first phase of the Systems Thinking Assessment.

The findings will help shape learning that responds to real needs, strengthening how we understand connections, approach complex challenges and create better solutions.

Recently, cross-border attacks have been a major challenge across different communities in Kenya. With the recent Kisii-Transmara border clashes, lives have been lost, day-to-day activities disrupted and with schools reopening for the third term, many fear the safety and wellbeing of students is at stake among the affected communities. The government though schools and higher institutions have created programs that help identify talents in athletics among students and youths in the community. We are delighted to introduce CHUSDE, our valued partner from Malawi in the SynapseProject, co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme.

CHUSDE is a community-based organisation committed to empowering young people and communities through climate action, sustainable development, health, skills development, and youth leadership.

Through SYNAPSE, CHUSDE is helping to strengthen systems thinking, critical thinking, intercultural collaboration and leadership while supporting young people to develop practical solutions to complex community challenges.

🌍 Together, SYNAPSE will engage 2,500 young people, facilitators and participants across Italy, Spain, Nigeria, Kenya, Namibia, Ethiopia and Malawi, building stronger connections between Africa and Europe.
