A Day to Remember: Our 4th KOCH Trip
Yesterday, we had the joy of taking our children on our fourth KOCH trip, and what a beautiful, unforgettable day it was.
For many of these children, moments like these are rare. It is a chance to step away from the challenges of everyday life in Korogocho and simply be children. To laugh freely, explore new spaces, and create memories that will stay with them for years to come.
Beyond the joy, these trips are also deeply educational. They give the children an opportunity to learn outside the classroom ;to experience nature, conservation, and the world around them in a real and meaningful way. These are lessons that spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire bigger dreams.
With this trip, we have now reached 80 children through these experiences. That’s 80 young lives given the opportunity to see beyond their immediate environment, to feel valued, and to believe in new possibilities.
These trips are experiences of hope, learning, and transformation.
We are incredibly grateful to Sunworld Safaris and David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust for making this possible.
A special thank you to Mark Jonnes and Julie Jonnes for your continued belief and support in this journey.
We’ve shared a few moments from the day, we hope they make you smile as much as they made us.
Together, we keep creating hope.
