As the country commemorated fifteen years since the promulgation of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, the CSRG Kenya has urged the government to provide a conducive environment to ensure full and Proper Implementation of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

They noted that fifteen years later, Devolution should be fully entrenched, public participation in the budgeting and planning process functional, conducive environment & civic space for CSOs guaranteed, there should be no extrajudicial killings & enforced disappearances, no criminalization of peasants seeds and the elderly in Kenya.

The group also called for reforms in the elections laws to establish Voters Caucuses with powers to summon aspirants through debates and also called for public participation in budgeting for political parties funds.

They urged the CSOs and the citizens at large to take their rightful responsibility of defending the Constitution of Kenya by establishing Citizens Led Organs as enshrined under article one of the Constitution of Kenya and Section 22 of the Intergovernmental Relations Act.
