This year 2015, Homa Bay County will host its 2nd career fair and exhibition in an effort to forge stronger ties with key tertiary education institutions, education financing organizations and various entities in the county offering vital opportunities for both students and parents of Homa Bay County and its environ. The event, which is part of Stanmal Educar Consultant overall vision is to promot
e greater career awareness among youths in the county. Key representatives from leading universities and colleges both local and international, and other higher learning institutions will be in attendance for this important event. Organizations offering education loan, student banking services, education insurance policy will also be in attendance. The event will highlight key strategic partnership initiatives between Stanmal Educar Consultant and various education establishments in the Republic of Kenya, East Africa and the entire world. In addition, Stanmal Educar Consultant will also host a number of prominent guests who will give keynote address that aims to touch on career guidance roles with the basic skills and essential knowledge of career advising and advance planning. There will be presentations from outstanding universities/colleges followed by an open forum discussion with various institutions at the exhibition showcasing programs ranging from certificate to PhD courses, research advancement among other credentials. Our last year's event was a success with a total of ten institutions & organizations exhibiting. PLO Lumumba inspired the community members by urging them to focus on education investment and development. We were also privileged to host Dr. Charles H. Angira and Mr. Bob Madanji as our Chief Guests on the second day of the fair. We shall forever appreciate the supported granted by JALUO.KOM (Wuon Abila) that enabled the event be a success. From the recommendation and support pledged by well-wishers, we shall make the event an annual fair on a rotational basis within Homa Bay County and its environ. We appeal to members of our community to take it as a challenge and always join us for such endeavors. Together let us strive for the best.
