World Cerebral Palsy Day @ JOEN CEREBRAL PALSY CENTRE - 6th October 2024
Every year on October 6th, we celebrate World Cerebral Palsy Day, a Global Day of Action dedicated to raising awareness about cerebral palsy (CP) and advocating for a world where individuals with CP have the same rights, access, and opportunities as everyone else.
This year, JOEN Cerebral Palsy Centre joined the global movement, with an inspiring event organized by the children, their parents, and the centre’s team. The day began with a community march around the centre's surrounding areas, symbolizing unity and progress. Following the march, a heartfelt thanksgiving session was held to celebrate the milestones our champions have achieved.
The highlight of the day was a special visit from the Young Wandirima Group, who brought gifts to share, adding joy and warmth to the celebration. We give all the glory to God for this wonderful occasion and the progress made by our clients.
