We’ve been quiet.

Maybe too quiet.

But after disappearing for a while, AIQO is back, and, we’re bringing you somewhere you probably shouldn’t be.

🎬 THE 14TH SEAT

A horror screening.
A blackout.
A murder.

On 31 October, 14 people will take their seats in a cinema somewhere in Nairobi.

You’ll watch the film.
You’ll meet the people around you.
You’ll receive secrets that aren’t yours to share.

Then the lights will go out.

When they come back on, one of you will be dead.

And the murderer will still be in the room.

We’ve been MIA.

We have a very good reason.

Welcome back to AIQO. Take your seat.

Sometimes even the people building safe spaces need space to breathe.

AIQO has been built with love, rage, hope, exhaustion, late nights, impossible odds, and a community that deserved to exist long before we did. But right now, we need to pause. To rebuild quietly. To rest without disappearing. To figure out what AIQO needs next so we don’t keep pouring from cups that sound like empty prayer bowls when you tap them.

This isn’t a goodbye.
Just a “BRB before the server overheats and starts speaking in tongues.”

Thank you to everyone who believed in us, showed up for us, volunteered, donated, attended events, sent kind messages, or simply existed loudly beside us. You mattered more than you know.

We’ll be back when the walls stop shaking and the lights stop flickering.

Until then, take care of each other. 🖤

Some DJs play music.
Some DJs drag your soul onto the dancefloor by the throat.

Introducing for Eden After Dark.

Expect rhythm that lingers in your ribs, late-night energy, and the kind of set that makes time slippery. Soft bodies, loud bass, dim lights, bad decisions. The usual.

✨EDEN AFTER DARK✨

A q***r dance floor for bodies that have been watched too much and felt too little. A space to loosen up, drop it low, roll your waist, and let the music carry what the world makes heavy.

On 15th May, we take the night back.

Heat. Rhythm. Release.
Different ways in, one shared escape.

Expect bass that hits your spine, hips that don’t lie, hands finding air, skin catching light, and a room where nobody’s asking you to be smaller than you are.

Soft chaos. Warm cups. Paint where your thoughts don’t have to behave.

We’re bringing you Coffee & Canvas. A slow, intimate afternoon to sit, sip, and let your hands say what your mouth won’t.

No pressure to be “good” at art. Just show up, exist a little louder, and leave with something that feels like you.
