Islamic Relief Kenya has successfully mobilized 1,134 rights-holders in Mandera North Constituency for unconditional cash transfers under the BREAC II Project.

The community mobilisation brings together local leaders, elders and community members to ensure the support reaches the most vulnerable drought-affected families with transparency and dignity.

The families will receive cash assistance across two tranches, giving them the choice and dignity to meet their most urgent needs.

This is part of the Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Change Project (BREAC II), funded by Islamic Relief Ireland, Islamic Relief South Africa and Islamic Relief Switzerland, supporting communities in Mandera and Wajir Counties.
