War Against Poverty and Illiteracy, is a community based organization founded with the main aim of advocating for fight against diseases, poverty, illiteracy, violence and social crimes. War Against Poverty and Illiteracy, is a community based organization founded with the main aim of advocating war against diseases, poverty, illiteracy, violence and social crimes by mobilizing human and material resources to uplift living standards, setting up Income Generating Projects (IGPs) to help develop a revolving fund and enable self-reliance attainment among members, establishing programs aimed at provision of clean water and improved nutrition to all by using locally available resources, Sourcing for cheaper/available medical services to the community at large, identifying, nurturing and developing talents in the community, establishing a resource centre for developing, receiving and disseminating information and above all establishing a sustainable steady network with other stakeholders like the government, organized groups, institution and individuals to help promote the value of human life.
