Through support to individuals, organizations, coalitions, movements and government agencies, we have contributed towards efforts to strengthen democratic governance, rule of law and accountability; protect the rights of the most marginalized including persons with disabilities, sexual and gender minorities, women and youth;promote food security particularly among pastoralist communities; advocate

for accountable utilization of natural resources; and promote inclusive, equitable and sustainable economic growth through economic justice. We have contributed over US$ 100 million in grants to over 300 partners across the region to improve the lives of millions of people in Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
