The Careers Advisory Centre (CAC) is a nonprofit organization that seeks to empower high school students by providing them with information that will help them make informed decisions about their education plans, career choices and life as whole. Our activities are concentrated in rural Kenya and in the less privileged areas to help them realize they can attain a better quality of life regardless
of their background. We do this by organizing Career days, Career fairs and providing mentorship opportunities through which different professionals can inspire/mentor young people by sharing their stories; how they started, the journey and how they got to where they are. We want to help a new generation start their own journey so that they too can tell their stories of success. We believe that it is such opportunities that will expand the youth’s vision of their potential, encourage them to set personal academic/career goals and help them identify pathway to reaching these goals and make informed career choices.
