ECOTOURISM KENYA Ecotourism Kenya is a membership organization that champions responsible tourism. Joining Ecotourism Kenya implies that one has undertaken to:

MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to all individuals, groups, and organizations that promote sustainable tourism in Kenya. This includes students, professionals, academic institutions, tourism and conservation organizations, government departments, tour operators, travel agents, hoteliers, etc. There are 4 categories of membership:
• Corporate – Kshs. 15,000 a year
• Community-Based Organizations (CB

Os) – Kshs. 3,000 a year
• Individuals – Kshs. 3,000 a year
• Students – Kshs. 1,500 a year

WHAT OBLIGATIONS DO MEMBERS OF ECOTOURISM KENYA HAVE? All members of Ecotourism Kenya have a responsibility to protect and enhance the natural and cultural environment in the areas where they operate. be proactive and innovative in environmental programmes;
2. minimize waste and pollution of natural resources;
3. safely dispose of all wastes generated without injury to the environment;
4. participate in the management of the natural areas where one operates;
5. comply with relevant environmental legislation;
6. educate visitors about the natural areas and local cultures;
7. observe The Kenya Safari Code and The Coast Code;
8. actively participate in programs developed to promote sustainable tourism, including voluntary certification;
9. have clear environmental goals and develop programs to achieve these goals, and
10.develop effective linkages with local communities.

❇️On 7th May 2026, over 60 registered and prospective exhibitors, partners, and stakeholders gathered at the Rift Valley Sports Club for the Exhibitors Breakfast Meeting and Media Briefing ahead of the upcoming Nakuru Trade & Tourism Expo 2026.

🔖During the session, TJ Premier Events shared detailed insights into the expo, highlighting exhibition showcases and conference sessions aimed at fostering valuable networking opportunities through cross-sector business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), and public-private engagements.

🍀As the and conference partner, Ecotourism Kenya will support conversations around responsible business practices in both the and sectors, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and inclusivity.

🎯Chief Guest and Nakuru County Chief Officer for Trade, Benard Sang, noted that the expo will offer an important platform for businesses, investors, exhibitors, and entrepreneurs to showcase products and services, build networks, and unlock new growth opportunities.
