"TO ALL OUR YOUTH ACROSS THE COUNTRY: A WORD OF CAUTION ON SABA SABA"
As we approach the 7th of July commonly known as Saba Saba we urge every young person to pause, reflect, and understand the history and meaning behind this date. It is not just another trending moment or an opportunity for chaos. Saba Saba is rooted in the struggle for democracy and reforms, not destruction and lawlessness.
Yes, we all desire change. We all want justice, jobs, fairness, and a better future. But that future will not be built by burning our own neighborhoods, looting from our fellow citizens, or being used as pawns in political games.
Your life matters. Your voice matters. Your future matters. Don’t let anyone push you to the streets in the name of "activism” without understanding what you’re fighting for. True protest is peaceful, strategic, and purposeful not violent, emotional, or reckless.
We all have our time on this earth, but don't shorten yours by joining a crowd that doesn’t care about your safety or your family’s pain.
Let’s seek change at the ballot, through community dialogue, through unity not bloodshed.
"This is your country too. Protect it, don’t destroy it."
