The Samburu Cultural Survival (SCP) is a community -based tourism forum formed out of genuine concern and motivation to enhance cultural diversity, survival and authenticity. SCP enhances product development and emphasizes diversity by empowering disadvantaged minorities with a particular reference to their consideration of cultural tourism. ty, the objective is to identify opportunities for appropriate form of participation in tourism across full spectrum of cultural diversity and the end goal is to meld indigenous culture and tourism to their mutual benefit. SCP is committed to effective advocacy of the community development through the development of tourism and promotion of educational well being of the community. The Local community has the capacity to manage their own development and they must be the full owners of the development initiatives and that decision-making and action must be based and democratic, transparent and accountable procedures
