Today, we joined Kenya and the world in celebrating in Makongeni, Diani, Kwale County. The event was a significant reminder that conservation starts with community. We rolled up our sleeves to plant mangroves and opened meaningful conversations on why protecting our wetlands is essential for climate resilience, food security, and thriving ecosystems. The enthusiasm from local residents, youth, and partners showed us that when people connect with nature, they become its strongest guardians. Under our slogan; Local Roots, Global Impact, every mangrove planted is a promise of cleaner waters, stronger shorelines, and healthier livelihoods to future generations. Thank you for being part of this movement. Let’s continue to protect, restore, and celebrate our wetlands together.
