On Saturday, our CEO & .KE Chief Evangelist Andrew Mwanyota Lewela joined fellow Moi Forces Academy alumni in a mentorship program for Grade 9 students as they explored career choices and prepared for the next phase of their academic journey.

We are pleased to welcome Kennedy Aseda to the Board of Kenya Network Information Centre (KeNIC).

As Chief Technology Officer of Kenya Education Network (KENET), Kennedy brings extensive expertise in internet infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital governance — areas that are critical to the continued growth, security and resilience of Kenya’s digital ecosystem.

The relationship between KeNIC and KENET is both strategic and complementary and Kennedy’s appointment to the KeNIC Board further strengthens this important connection. While KeNIC stewards Kenya’s .ke domain namespace and strengthens trust in the country’s internet identity infrastructure, KENET advances connectivity, research, innovation, and cybersecurity across Kenya’s higher education and research institutions. Together, these organizations play a vital role in advancing a secure, resilient, and globally competitive internet ecosystem for Kenya.

Kennedy’s experience in cyber resilience, internet governance, and research network leadership will strengthen collaboration between the academic and internet infrastructure communities, helping drive innovation and digital trust for the country.

We look forward to the strategic leadership and insight he brings to the KeNIC Board. Welcome aboard!
