Growing Hope, Strengthening Our Sisterhood!

At SI Nairobi Central, we believe that true transformation happens when environmental action meets compassionate service. We recently had a powerful day at the Nairobi Children Rescue Centre to commemorate World Environment Day, and we are still buzzing from the energy!

Our flagship initiative, Greening Our Horizons (GOH), was in full swing as we planted 50 fruit-bearing trees, including orange, avocado, papaya, passion fruit, and mango. Beyond the soil, we also donated gently used clothing and toys, demonstrating how the circular economy—reusing and sharing, is a simple but vital act of environmental stewardship.

These acts of giving and growing are about more than just a single day; they are about planting seeds of hope, responsibility, and resilience for generations to come.
The Journey Continues: The "Greening Sisterhood" Campaign

We are incredibly excited to announce the next phase of our GOH initiative: The Greening Sisterhood Campaign! As we prepare for the 4th SIAF Biennial Conference in Nairobi this September, this campaign will unite our clubs across the continent in a shared mission of sustainability, resource sharing, and collective impact.

A massive thank you to our Program Director, Dr. Habiba Alambo, and the entire GOH team for showing up and showing out! Together, we are not just witnessing change; we are creating it.
