Yesterday we had a day of work at the Novus Prayer Garden; We built additional benches (now 7 in total) as well as set up the Freedom Base (anointed to set free those suffering addictions) and planted some fruits and trees (Strawberries, and Thika Palm Trees)

*Corporate Prayer* as a Discipleship Tool

Mike Breen in a podcast summarized discipleship in three "I's" Imitation, Information, Innovation in that order. Take for instance Prayer, a central element in our intimacy journey with the Lord. Disciples must be taught to pray; to have conversations, communion and consummation with the Father (Dallas Willard). It is however not automatic that believers will pray. Prayer, like other faith disciplines, is first caught through observation (the disciples imitates a discipler).

Prayer Meetings and Gatherings are excellent places for this to happen. Discipleship will do well to provide regular spaces where the believers can learn how to pray. During these meetings, take time to explain why we do what we do. Classes to go deeper will benefit from the experience in observation.

Treat Prayer Demonstration as a central ingredient in discipleship.
