We have just completed the installation of a solar-powered borehole at the Namanga KAG Church! ☀️💦

This clean water project is expected to serve over 5,000 people in this growing urban community, providing reliable access to safe and sustainable water.

We are deeply grateful to God for His faithfulness as we move closer to the 200-borehole milestone in just five years! 🙏🏽

One borehole at a time. One community at a time. Changing lives through clean water. 💙

In remote villages far marginalized from basic infrastructure, families often travel daunting distances to reach a hospital. For those without the financial means to make the journey, seeking care can feel impossible—leaving them at home, waiting and praying for a miracle.

WorldServe helps bridge this gap by bringing free medical camps directly to these underserved communities. Through free medical consultations, clinical checkups, and essential medications, these camps provide much-needed healthcare to those who need it most.

More than just medical outreach, these camps are a living testament to God’s love—bringing the blessing of good health, restoring hope, and reminding resilient communities that they are not forgotten.

For years, vulnerable communities in the regions we serve gathered for worship under trees and makeshift structures—exposed to scorching sun, harsh winds, and heavy rains. Yet, their commitment never wavered.

Through our Church Planting Project, we are transforming these vulnerable spaces by constructing durable, permanent sanctuaries. These new buildings offer far more than physical shelter from the elements; they provide dignity, safety, and a sustainable hub for community gathering and spiritual growth for generations to come.
Thank you to everyone who stands with us to make these life-changing projects a reality! Sanctuary by sanctuary, we are building hope that lasts.

Today was marked by deep connection, shared vision, and meaningful field insights as we welcomed the Vice President of WorldServe International,Eric Hoffman, and his team from the USA. We journeyed together to the Lima Pilot Farm, where seeing our agricultural operations firsthand offered a powerful, tangible demonstration of how water leads every aspect of growth—truly proving that water is life. Returning to headquarters, we held an extensive and heartfelt meeting where deep emotions met real community needs. Together, we engaged in candid, constructive discussions on how to refine, strengthen, and elevate our programs to deliver even greater impact for the people we serve.

Our Healthy Hearths program is transforming kitchens and protecting families by replacing traditional, inefficient cooking methods with modernized cookstoves. For generations, open-fire cooking has posed severe indoor smoke hazards, consumed excessive amounts of firewood, and placed a heavy physical burden on individuals who spend hours gathering fuel. Modernized cookstoves offer a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable alternative. Designed for maximum thermal efficiency, they burn significantly less firewood while cooking meals faster and occupying minimal space. By dramatically reducing toxic smoke emissions and lowering fuel demand, the Healthy Hearths initiative safeguards respiratory health, reduces daily labor, and protects our local environment for a cleaner, greener future.

Today marked another profound milestone of hope as we, Worldserve International Kenya and the James River Church, officially commissioned a new borehole at KAG Kinanie, bringing clean, safe water directly to the heart of the community. Guided by the spirit of Mark 10:14, this project reflects our mission to walk as imitators of Christ—leading with genuine hearts of compassion and tangible deeds of kindness. Christ came to lift up the vulnerable, the overlooked, and those in deep need, and through this life-giving well, we are honoring that calling by protecting health, restoring dignity, and pouring out love where it is needed most.

Through Worldserve Kenya’s partnership with Project41, we continue to extend our reach deep into the heart of Nairobi’s urban informal settlements. Together, our goal is to deliver sustainable solutions to the critical issue of drinking water in these areas, where supply lines frequently run adjacent to open sewers and arrive severely contaminated at the end user. Clean water is non-negotiable for life and growth, and through this collaboration, we are dedicated to safeguarding the health of school-going children—ensuring they stay healthy, remain in school, and build a brighter, thriving future.
