Indigenous Peoples Foundation

Indigenous Peoples Foundation We promote the participation of marginalized groups and IPs in national processes to achieve cultural tolerance, social equity & appreciation of diversity

Indigenous Peoples Foundation strives to give indigenous peoples a voice amidst the growing tide of industrialization and the power to protect their territories and cultural heritage. Our Culture Tolerance and Good Governance PROGRAMs assist indigenous groups in their own cultural preservation and self-empowerment efforts. With input from knowledgeable members of the communities to whom we serve,

we define and implement indigenous peoples priorities for economic, social and cultural development and environmental protection, based on their traditional cultures, knowledge and practices, and the implementation of their inherent right to self-determination. We take pride in indigenous peoples cultural practices and build on these through documentation and cultural concerts to promote cultural diversity, peace and tolerance. Through our interactive forums, we create awareness on how indigenous peoples can effectively participate in governance and how this participation can result into sustainable livelihoods.
