On 22nd November, YOHO brought together 100 SRHR champions at YMCA Nairobi for a full-day learning engagement as we ushered in the 16 Days of Activism Against GBV.
We explored barriers young people face in accessing SRHR services, unpacked mental health realities linked to violence, discussed reproductive coercion, and held open conversations on consent and healthy relationships.
This gathering strengthened young people’s voices, skills, and commitment to leading change in their campuses and communities.

Last week the Youth Health Organization (YOHO) joined global voices in marking International Safe Abortion Day. Together with our dynamic Peer Champions, we created a safe and empowering space to discuss young people’s role in advocating for safe abortion, bodily autonomy, and SRHR.
