A major step forward for clean water and community health in Muhanga! 💧

Located in Rwanda’s Southern Province, Muhanga is a vibrant, fast-growing urban hub and major transit center. As local business and daily movement expand, ensuring that everyone in public spaces has free, accessible drinking water remains vital for public health and environmental conservation.
To address this, the International Transformation Foundation (ITF) united our teams across ITF Rwanda, ITF USA, and ITF Europe, alongside the Local Authorities of Muhanga District, to officially launch the Muhanga Public Water Fountain!
This matters because the project provides free, reliable tap water to local youth, residents, and commuters right where they live and work. It is also equipped with auto-stop tap technology to prevent water waste and reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles in busy public areas.

Thank you to the leadership of Muhanga District and our global partners for making this collaborative milestone possible! 🌍✨
