September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month.
Today 10th Sept is World Su***de Prevention Day.

2026 Official Theme: CHANGING THE NARRATIVE ON SU***DE- START THE CONVERSATION.

Today, UCESCO Africa, different partners and stakeholders did a community walk in remembrance of lives lost to su***de, in support of those affected and in solidarity with those experiencing emotional pain.
The walk was also to raise awareness, promote hope compassion and connection.

We don't need to have all the answers, we need to have the courage to start conversations about Mental Health and seeking help.
