Our Executive Director & Founder Kiragu Muriithi, had the honor of celebrating International Youth Day 2025 at the United Nations in Nairobi under the theme “Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond.”

In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of young people moving beyond being heard to actively shaping governance and policy. Tools like the Global Youth Participation Index (GYPI) can help identify gaps, strengthen youth engagement, and push for accountability.

To all youth: let’s step up, lead boldly, and drive change from our communities to the world!
