One of the highlights from The Butterfly Effect 2026 was welcoming ArtBox, who joined us to present two Art Boxes to Hope for Cancer Kids; one for Kenyatta National Hospital and one for 1 Hope House.

Each Art Box is a complete Art Club kit designed for 50 students over 10 weeks, with everything needed to create, learn and express themselves through art.

We are so grateful to ArtBox for choosing to support the children and families we work with and for being part of our Art4Life journey. 💛

You kept the evening moving, ran a wonderfully tight programme, kept everyone on their toes and made sure every raffle, bid and artwork got its moment. And somehow, by the end of the night, there was no artwork left behind.💛🎗️

Beyond that, thank you for taking the time to understand what Hope for Cancer Kids is about, sharing more about the work we do and encouraging everyone in the room to be part of it.

An auction was had… a time was definitely had. 🦋💛

Five years of hosting us, Ankole Grill, thank you for opening your doors to Hope for Cancer Kids and supporting this evening without expectation, year after year. We’re incredibly grateful. 🧡

And Maina Chege, thank you for running such a strict programme 😅, keeping everyone on their toes and making sure the evening flowed beautifully. And somehow, we literally had no art left behind! 🎤🦋

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who showed up, listened to our journey, bid, bought, donated, supported and made the night what it was.

What a night. What a community. What a reminder of what happens when we come together. 💛

In our final part, we take you on a tour of 1 Hope House and the spaces created to give children and their caregivers a safe, comfortable place to stay while they seek treatment in Nairobi.

This may be just one house, but it represents a much bigger vision, a future where more families have a place to stay, feel supported and know they are not alone. 💛
