Kilele Youths Foundation Inspiring Potential, Shaping Futures! Kilele Youth Foundation was born from a place of gratitude and
purpose.

Its founders, once beneficiaries of Compassion International,
experienced firsthand the power of support, mentorship, and love in
shaping a young personโ€™s future. Having walked that journey, they
carried in their hearts a deep desire to give back and extend the same
hope to others. Founded in 2022, Kilele Youth Foundation is driven by the conviction
that true change begins with one life at a time.

We are a community-
based organization dedicated to inspiring change and creating lasting
social impact. Through mentorship, sports evangelism, group and
individual counseling, and youth development programs, we walk
alongside young people; guiding them, empowering them, and helping
them discover their potential. Our work is anchored in the belief that when youth rise, communities
thrive. By investing in the next generation, we not only uplift individuals
but also transform families and communities. At Kilele Foundation, every initiative, every conversation, and every
program is a step toward building a future of hope, purpose, and

Kilele Youths Foundation was honored to facilitate the Kikuyu Sub-County Prefects Induction held at Alliance Girls' High School.

The event brought together over 800 prefects drawn from 21 secondary schools, marking one of the largest student leadership gatherings in the region.

During the induction, we equipped the student leaders with:

โœณ๏ธPrinciples of servant leadership

โœณ๏ธDiscipline and responsibility frameworks

โœณ๏ธConflict resolution and communication skills

โœณ๏ธIntegrity and ethical decision-making

โœณ๏ธPositive influence and peer mentorship

โœณ๏ธEmotional intelligence and character formation

Our focus was to empower prefects not just as rule enforcers, but as role models, bridge-builders, and transformational leaders within their schools.

We believe leadership is not about position, but responsibility โ€” and this induction was a step toward raising a generation of courageous, disciplined, and purpose-driven student leaders in Kikuyu Sub-County.

We remain committed to partnering with schools and education stakeholders to strengthen student leadership structures across Kiambu County and beyond.

The Imara program, which is our leadership development training program recently conducted leadership training for over 600 prefects drawn for more than 21 schools in Kikuyu Subcounty. Our Imara program has toured multiple counties in recent times including Kiambu, Kajiado and Nairobi.
