We are proud of our Y-Mental lead Nina Kinya a very vibrant voice in supporting mental health initiatives at the local communities. Through her skills and training Nina Kinya hosts radio shows in the local dialects to reach out to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people to emphasize the need to prioritise mental health and wellbeing.

We were humbled to host the German delegation in our branch. This is a key step towards partnership strengthening and supporting the Y-MTAANI program that emphasizes community transformation and wellbeing. The delegation had a chance to learn and reflect on Gratitude, Kindness and Hope as we work towards achieving mental wellbeing.
In the delegation we had the General Secretary for YMCA Baden and the International committee members, and Silke from the German YMCA who is in charge of international Volunteer programs. The delegation also visited the upcoming George Williams garden a community oasis for hope. Surely YMCANIHOME.

In line with YMCA Vision 2030 on Community Wellbeing.YMCA Central Branch engaged in a three day camp to celebrate 2026 Easter season at Mombasa,Kenya.
It was a moment for the young people to bond,explore excursions and building leadership capacities,away from their busy schedules.These is crucial for physical and mental health wellbeing promotion.
