We had an amazing experience volunteering at the Standard Chartered Marathon where we had the privilege of supporting runners, distributing snacks and maintaining order along the route, and ensuring safety for all participants. 💙

It was a day filled with energy, commitment, and teamwork which was a powerful reminder of what collective effort can achieve. Being part of such a well-organized and impactful event was both humbling and inspiring.

On Friday last week, we had an amazingl JOTAJOTI (Jamboree on the Air – Jamboree on the Internet) session that truly embodied the spirit of Scouting without borders! ⚜️

The session brought together Scouts from The Gambia, including the Banjul Scouts Troop, Kartong Junior & Senior Secondary School Scouts, and several dedicated Scout Leaders. It was a beautiful exchange of ideas, cultures, and experiences filled with laughter, learning, and the joy of connecting across miles.⚜️

Through interactive discussions and shared stories, we celebrated the power of technology in uniting Scouts worldwide and strengthening the bonds of friendship and service. Every moment reminded us that no distance is too great when hearts beat for the same cause in order to create a better world through Scouting. 💚✨

It has been six months of service, love, and growth which have led us to doing our project passionately and as we prepare for our last visit, it has really been a success 💛

This month’s visit marks the closing chapter of our journey at New Beginnings Children’s Home, filled with renovation works, celebration, and reflection. Together with the children, we’ll paint brighter spaces, share joyful moments, and celebrate the milestones we’ve achieved side by side.

It’s more than the end of a project, it’s a lasting bond of hope, kindness, and community. Thank you to everyone who has walked with us on this journey. 🫶🏽

We had an amazing weekend, at the New beginnings Children's home for our project, this was our second last visit and we had a chance to do bead making with the children, and donated books among other many activities.
We are glad to have impacted the children differently throughout our project ♥️⚜️

We had our second phase of the community service project on Saturday, where we did a number of activities at New beginnings children's home, including Fumigation, installing hanging lines and cleaning of the dorms.

We continue to appreciate everyone that supports us in different ways and our members for being at the forefront to put a smile on the children's faces.❤️🙏🏾
