At the opening of the 17th African Dairy Conference & Exhibition (17AfDa) in Nairobi, Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Hon. Mutahi Kagwe underscored a clear message:

🚨 “There will be no dairy exports without quality.”

He highlighted the urgent need to address aflatoxin contamination in animal feeds, noting that food safety and certification are non-negotiable for Kenya and Africa to compete in regional and global markets.

This reinforces the call for stronger collaboration between farmers, processors, regulators, and partners to build a dairy sector that is not only competitive but also safe and sustainable.
