Today Afro Sayari (a hotel and amusement park) in Ruiru Kenya celevrated its 10 anniversary. They invited several childrens home to celebrate with them. Watoto Wema Cente was also invited. The kids played arcade games, bouncing castle, airplanes, swimming. We ate lunch and got some items to.take home as well. A day to never forget

Today, it was the day that our parents learned about financial skills in business. It was a succesful day and they learned a lot.

Yesterday we had a succesful meeting with our parents/guardians on parenting teenagers as well as responsible social media use.
Children from the community also showed up, so we had to improvise a bit and have a talk about being a teenager for them as well.

In the last months kidnappings of children in Kenya has increased. The children age 7 to 12 years followed a training on how to stay safe and they got a certificate. Knowledge on prevetion and what to do if targeted is crucial.

After 4 years living in Watoto Wema Centre, hoping that the family situation will be safe enough to go home, the day finally came. Brian is reunited with his family and travelled to Western Kenya to start living with his family again.

This girl is new in watoto wema and is hearing impaired. As we where going into the procedure of enrolling in a schpp.for.the hearing impaired, an ENT dr. Did a hearing test and told us she will be able to hear well with hearing aid.
Thanks to a very generous sponsor, she can now hear and start a normal life.

Organizations helping organizations. Watoto Wema Centre donated unfitting, but good clothes to St Catherine Primary which is based in an area that had flood victims who lost houses and households in this months rain. Making sure that all donated items reach the most needy and nothing goes to waste. Also a big thanks to Tollo of Rotary club of Milimani for the free transport. Together we can make a better community.
