CMS-Africa today hosted Diana Phillips, Safeguarding Manager at Church Mission Society (CMS), who took the CMS-Africa secretariat through an important session on the “Why” of Safeguarding.

Diana emphasized that safeguarding is not the responsibility of one department or one individual - it is a collective responsibility of every staff member. We must embed creating safe spaces, protecting people from harm, and upholding dignity in everything we do.

At CMS-Africa, we remain committed to strengthening a culture where everyone is safe, heard, respected, and protected.
