Let's kick off our first meeting of the Rotary year with an evening of fellowship, connection, and purpose.

📅 Date: Tuesday, 7th July
🕕 Time: From 6:00 PM
📍 Venue: Kraftory Biergarten, Rosslyn Luxury Mall

Program
• Board Meeting: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Club Social: 7:00 PM onwards

As we embrace a new Rotary year, we'll also take time to celebrate and *bid a heartfelt farewell to our Immediate Past President, Sheridan*, thanking him for his outstanding leadership and service. We'll also be *celebrating alongside our sponsor, 254*, for an evening of great company and shared memories.

⚽ To top it all off, we'll be watching Argentina 🇦🇷 vs Egypt together.

Come reconnect with fellow Rotarians, make new connections, and let's continue creating lasting impact—together.

✨ DCA 2026 — Day 3 | The Grand Finale ✨

With pomp, celebration, and a sky lit up with fireworks, The Last Dance came to a close — marking both an ending and a bold new beginning.

Rotary Club of Karura is proud to now be formally part of Rotary District 9215, and we are excited to step into this new chapter of service, leadership, and impact.

In the words of our President, Sheridan:

“What an incredible District Assembly!
Besides the excellent guest speakers, spectacular handover ceremony and fireworks, it was the fellowship, laughter, renewed friendships, and shared passion for service that truly made it special.

As my first DCA, the sheer energy and excitement left me inspired — a powerful reminder of what Rotary can achieve when committed people come together with purpose.

A heartfelt thank you to all who attended for bringing your enthusiasm, fun, and true Rotary spirit.”

🎩✨ DCA 2026 — Day 2 ✨🎩

And just like that… the excitement continued!

Day 2 at DCA The Last Dance brought even more colour, laughter, fellowship, and unforgettable Rotary moments for Rotary Club of Karura.
This time, we proudly walked away with the Best Dressed Club Award 🏆 — thanks to our stunning traditional hats, the iconic Othith.

From the moment we arrived, the hats became a conversation starter and quickly turned our club into a centre of attraction throughout the conference.

More than just fashion, the Othith represents culture, identity, unity, and the joy of showing up fully as ourselves within the Rotary family. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the Karura spirit was impossible to miss.

DCA 2026 continues to remind us that Rotary is not only about service — it is also about connection, celebration, heritage, and creating memories together.

What a powerful moment in Rotary history. As District 9212 gathers for its final District Conference Assembly before the transition into two new districts, this truly feels like the end of an era — and the beginning of a new chapter.
The energy, fellowship, colour, and spirit at DCA have been unforgettable, and Rotary Club of Karura is proud to be part of this landmark occasion alongside Rotarians from across the region.
We are especially thrilled to celebrate our club members who represented us so vibrantly and helped us emerge as 2nd Runners-Up in the Best Dressed Category 🏆✨
Style, unity, and Rotary spirit? We brought all three.
A special highlight was the opportunity to connect with Rotary leadership from around the world, including a memorable moment with the Incoming RI President — a reminder that Rotary continues to inspire hope, service, and impact across generations.
