Fellow Rotarians, join us today for an inspiring conversation with Patriciah Njeri, Founder and Director of Birth & Beyond.

Under the theme “Shining a Light on Young Mothers through Grassroot Action, Partnership and Opportunity,” Patriciah will share her journey working with young mothers and the role that community, partnership and access to opportunity can play in helping them build stronger futures.

This is going to be a meaningful evening of learning, reflection and conversation around what practical, grassroots support can look like, and how collective action can create lasting impact.

Today, the Warmest Club came together for a powerful conversation on su***de prevention, led by our very own Fatma Musau.

We spoke about recognising the signs, asking difficult questions, listening without judgement, and being present for those who may be silently struggling.

Sometimes, we don’t need the perfect words.
We just need to show up.

Last Thursday, we discovered that there’s a lot more to our newest Rotarians than their impressive CVs and professional titles! 😄

From hilarious questions to unexpected answers, our Know Your Members fellowship gave us a chance to see the people behind the name badges, beyond the boardrooms, job titles and serious faces. 😂

We laughed, shared stories, discovered new sides of each other, and most importantly, built connections that go beyond Rotary meetings.

Because sometimes, the best way to build a stronger club is simply to sit together, ask the right questions, and have a good laugh. ❤️

💙 LISTEN. UNDERSTAND. SERVE. 💙

Service begins with showing up and listening.

This week, members and prospective members of the Rotary Club of Nairobi Muthaiga North, The Warmest Club, visited Mama Margaret Uhuru Hospital for a needs assessment, engaging with the hospital team to better understand the challenges they face and identify areas where we can support.

The visit was an important first step in exploring how our club can partner with the hospital to create meaningful and lasting impact. From the conversations, it was clear that there are several opportunities for collaboration, and we look forward to seeing where this journey takes us. 🤝🏽

A big thank you to our President Stanley Nguru, fellow Rotarians and prospective Rotarians who took the time to be part of the visit and contribute to this important conversation.

Because Service Above Self starts with being willing to listen, learn and show up. 💙
