WE SHOWED UP FOR A GREENER ENVIRONMENT! MAZINGIRA DAY!

Today, we came together to celebrate Mazingira Day 2026 through community clean-ups, environmental conservation, and collective action towards a cleaner, greener, and healthier community.

From rolling up our sleeves to cleaning our surroundings, today was a reminder that protecting our environment starts with each one of us. Together, we can make a lasting difference!

A big thank you to our partners and everyone who came out to make today a success. Your commitment and support demonstrate the power of working together for a better environment.

This 10th October 2026, Sports for Greener Environment, in partnership with Nature Protect Organization and our supporting partners, will bring together the community for a day of tree planting, community clean-up, drainage clearing and environmental awareness.

Football is more than a game—it is a powerful platform for creating positive change.

We were proud to join a football tournament at Lucky Summer, an initiative that brought together the power of sport, athletes, and community action to champion environmental awareness and advocate for stronger action to protect our forests and stop the indiscriminate cutting down of trees.

We are grateful to Ubunifu Hub, Greenpeace Afrique, and BLEP Kenya for inviting us to be part of this important initiative and for creating a platform where sport can drive meaningful conversations and action for our environment.

The impact went beyond the pitch. Together with the participants, we took part in a tree-planting exercise at the Football Kenya Federation Offices, Goal Project, Kasarani, reinforcing a simple but powerful message: protecting our environment is a shared responsibility.

From the football pitch to the environment, we continue to play our part in building a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.

Today, we successfully carried out an environmental clean-up in Kahawa West Ward, Roysambu Constituency, and the impact was truly inspiring!

From collecting waste to restoring cleanliness in our shared spaces, this effort showed what we can achieve when we come together with a common purpose. A big thank you to Kahawa Sportive Soccer Academy, University Teaching Referal and Research Hospital and everyone who showed up, and contributed their time, and made a difference.

Let’s keep the momentum going! Cleaner surroundings mean healthier lives and a stronger community for all of us.
