Meet Peter Kuloba, this year's Safal Eye In The Wild 2026 winner, and discover the story behind his winning photograph.

Peter had the rare privilege of documenting the glaciers of Mount Rwenzori one of Africa's last remaining equatorial glaciers as they continue to recede due to the growing effects of climate change. His photograph is more than a breathtaking image; it is a powerful record of a rapidly changing landscape and a reminder of what is at stake for future generations, conservationists, and the communities that call the Rwenzori home.

Through his lens, Peter has truly helped us Frame the Future, inspiring greater awareness of the urgent need to protect our natural world.
