🌍🤱🏽 RACIDA in partnership with Concern Worldwide and with support from Irish Aid joined Mandera County Government and the rest of Kenya in celebrating the annual event from 1st - 7th August 2024, under the theme : Breastfeeding Support for All.”

👩‍👧‍👦 With support of our partners, RACIDA is at the forefront of protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding among mothers in the Arid and Semi-Arid lands where we work.

💪 Mothers in these regions face barriers to breastfeeding, including limited access to healthcare, lack of resources, and unsupportive cultural beliefs.

🍼 Breastfeeding is a cornerstone of enhancing child survival and among children under 2 years.

Let's work together to support breastfeeding and ensure a healthier future for our children!
