September is basic education and literacy month in Rotary.

Do you remember how exciting it was to have campus students visit you in primary/secondary school for tree planting or mentorship? Well, you have a chance to have that effect on someone.

Friday afternoon we partner with to empower Nairobi South primary school kids to reach their full potential through a mentorship program.

Join us as we serve and have fun. See you!

And the director of the month iiiissssss 🥁 🥁 , community service director Yvonne Kiundi.
Our most successful project in August has been the Charterversary at Mugumoini Community Centre in Kibera thanks to Yvonne's leadership skills.
With the help of our great board and members, we were able to plan, raise funds and execute this project which brought us so much joy.
We thank Kiundi for for selflessly giving herself for this. She went to 1000 meetings inviting other clubs to share in our joy whilst asking for donations, worked with our team to ensure all tasks were completed, went for pre-visits, and above all managed everyone on the said day.

Yvonne, we see you and we love you ❤️ keep on

There are plenty of reasons why life becomes meaningful when you have campus friends to depend on and to lean on; one is that they are a source of happiness as well as your learning. Also visualizing your future is more fun when you are surrounded by friends who share the same dreams.
This Tuesday, 30th August, we shall be demystifying the value of campus friendships at R31 from 5pm during our panel discussion moderated by IS Director *Abuya Stanly* . On the panel will be *Bramuel Bukhuni*, club IPP, *Wendy Mackennah*, Past PR Director and *Cynthia Wangari*, Club Secretary for RAC Nairobi Parklands. Come learn with us and dont forget to tag that campus friend along🤩. See you tomorrow evening.
