Across the country, UN Volunteers supported key programmes and national priorities; from advancing devolution in counties, to contributing to humanitarian and development initiatives, and supporting the launch of the Kenya National Joint Disability Strategy, strengthening inclusion for persons with disabilities.
Through their skills and commitment, volunteers worked alongside government institutions, UN partners, and communities to advance peace, resilience, and progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
As we look back on these moments, we also look ahead. In 2026, the International Year of Volunteers, , will further elevate volunteerism as a driver of collective action.
