SHAK Nairobi was with Mary Nyakiringa Amagove Anita Gi Phillis Kevogo Carol Wanjira Rocky M Phillip Phoebe Achieng at Nairobi Chapel during the capacity building workshop for parents and youth from the SHAK Nairobi chapter.

Parents and youth shared their victories as well as challenges.
In line with the 2024 WSBHD theme it was noted that more advocacy on accessible public transport, mental health, sexual and reproductive health for PWDs and economic empowerment were among the key issues discussed.

It was such an honor to learn more from the candid facilitation by Dr. Mary Kimani who has walked a journey with our families for the longest time.
We celebrate all fathers who created time to participate in this important activity in our health and advocacy calendar.

Looking forward to developing programs and implementing activities that will address these pertinent issues.
We appreciate the wonderful work of the SHAK Nairobi leadership and the partnership from the SHAK Kenya national office.
Indeed we are

SHAK Nairobi was with Hope Mobility Kenya at the Nairobi Chapel during the wheelchair distribution and fitting exercise.

We are more than thankful for this wonderful and timely ministry that has won souls for Christ as they receive mobility aids which will make their lives more accessible.

The smiles on the faces of our children and their parents is a testament of relief for them that had inappropriate mobility aids.

SHAK Nairobi was with Hope Mobility Kenya at the CITAM Valley Road during the fitting and distribution of mobility devices to children and adults with disabilities.

It was all smiles as our youth with Spinabifida and Hydrocephalus received their new wheelchairs and a warm blanket among other goodies.

Thanking the volunteers from Hope Mobility International and Challengers ministry for the wonderful evangelism and expressing the love of Christ.

Having these appropriate mobility aids PWDs are able to move around preaching the good news of the gospel.

We plant God's word, servants of the Lord waters and God commands growth. 1Cor 3:6

SHAK Nairobi was at the APDK Westlands in Nairobi during the bi-monthly mobile outreach clinic for children and adults with Spinabifida and/or Hydrocephalus conducted by BethanyKids.

Despite the heavy rains that have been pounding many parts of Kenya, the dedication and commitment of these parents, the youth, the leaders at SHAK Nairobi and the selfless service from the Bethany Kids outreach team shows that no matter what the circumstances our children's needs and wellbeing are of paramount priority.

Kudos to the Bethany Kids team who donated foodstuffs to families who are adversely affected by the ravaging floods.
