Every day, you choose service over comfort, compassion over convenience, and hope over despair. While the challenges are many and the financial rewards often fall short of reflecting your immense contribution, your commitment to caring for others never wavers.
Behind every recovered patient is a health professional who stayed beyond working hours.
Behind every life saved is a team that refused to give up. Behind every healthy community is your dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering belief that every life matters.
You are not only treating illness - you are restoring hope, protecting families, and strengthening the future of our nation. Your work is a true act of patriotism, carried out quietly and selflessly, often without the recognition you deserve.
On this 1st of July, I extend my deepest gratitude to every doctor, nurse, midwife, pharmacist, laboratory professional, public health expert, ambulance team, and all healthcare workers across Ethiopia.
